Ramona's Cafe
About This Spot
Stepping into Ramona's Cafe, you’re greeted by a warmly familiar atmosphere that feels like an extension of a neighbor’s kitchen rather than a typical eatery. The hum of quiet conversations and the friendly banter between servers and regulars creates a welcoming pace — unhurried and sincere, inviting you to linger a while or stop in as a comforting pause on a long day. There’s a lived-in charm here, where the simple hum of daily life is punctuated by the comforting aromas of slow-cooked meals and freshly brewed coffee.
This is a spot where the menu feels like a lovingly tended family recipe book brought to life. Whether it’s the rich warmth of a chili-smothered burrito or the crisp satisfaction of fajitas sizzling just right, the food reflects both tradition and heart. The portions feel generous without overstatement, sitting perfectly alongside chatter that flows easy and laughter that feels genuine. Even the salad bar—a refreshing flourish—speaks to the care put into balancing hearty meals with fresh, homey touches.
Ramona’s strikes that rare balance of being both a place to refuel and a small community hub. The servers, with their easy smiles and shared stories about cooking traditions, make visiting here feel less like being a diner and more like being welcomed into a shared table. Despite its humble setting on Main Street, this cafe carries the weight of local pride, where recipes and relationships are savored equally.
For those passing through Lordsburg or locals seeking a steady and sincere meal, Ramona’s Cafe offers a kind of belonging — a place where food and friendliness blend effortlessly, leaving you feeling a little more grounded and genuinely satisfied at the end of your visit.

Ramona's was a good lunch stop on the road. Service was friendly. Booth & table seating are available. I took advantage of their salad bar, which had everything from your normal greens, grape tomatoes, and broccoli to toppings like bacon bits, hard eggs, shredded cheese and croutons. There's also some tasty cottage cheese, and the salad bar comes with their soup. Spouse enjoyed their delicious fajita salad with both beef & chicken. We recommend Ramona's Cafe for a delicious & healthy lunch.

Ordered to go chef salad. Fresh, good. The ranch dressing tasted home made. Side of fries: cold, tasted stale. Small portion.

Stopped in at Ramona’s for breakfast while passing through Lordsburg, and I’m glad I did. The food was hot, fresh, and came out pretty quick. The place has a laid-back, hometown vibe, and the staff was super friendly—felt like they actually enjoyed being there, which made the whole experience better. It’s not a fancy spot, but it doesn’t need to be. If you’re looking for a good local breakfast that’ll leave you full and happy, Ramona’s is a great choice.
